What is St. Boniface Youth Connect?

It is a place where teens can meet new people, grow friendships, and draw closer to God.

It’s a place where teens talk and adults listen.

It’s also a place where teens can plug into the Word of God and prayer with the support of the church.

This event will be lead by
Guest Youth Minister & Confirmation Catechist Sally Doulton

Who is your new Youth Ministry Director?
Dr. Belinda Basaca Zeitlin, MS, MD (aka “Dr. B”) is a pediatrician and has been a St. Boniface Parishioner for over a decade.  She and her husband were raised in Glen Cove and returned to the area in June 2000 to raise their now teenage boys.  She has extensive training in youth empowerment, interpersonal communication and leadership skills. She serves as member to the Pastoral Council, an Extraordinary Minister and lector and has launched several new initiatives at our Parish including the Parish Yard Sale and Christmas Around the World. As a parent and pediatrician, she has prided her professional work on being a sentinel for child protection and anti-bullying. As a child advocate, her life’s mission is to empower youth and instill leadership skills that will last them a lifetime.

Christmas Wreath Sale

Please support our 2020 Parish Wreath Sale! This year’s fundraiser will be contactless and all orders will be shipped directly to the recipients. (Please note: There will be no orders shipped to the church for pick up like last year).

Here are the ways you can help make this fundraiser a success:

1) Order at least one wreath/swag/centerpiece, etc. for your home – through the link below using our Parish ID.

2) Do your Christmas shopping with us by purchasing the fresh products through our fundraiser link and gift people in your life with a fresh, beautiful wreath.

3) Think of those that are not able to get out and purchase Christmas decor – either share this information with them or gift them with a wreath or swag.

4) Send or give your essential workers a beautiful fresh gift to thank them.

5) Anyone can purchase using our link and Parish ID – even people outside of our parish and state! So please share with your family and friends (tell them, email them, text them, post on social media) to ask them for their support.

You can start ordering now!

Christmas Around the World

Christmas Around the World takes place on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 in the St. Boniface Gym immediately after the 5 pm Mass and tree lighting and blessing of the crèche.

This is a Parish run event where we have Christmas displays and treats from many countries.

Ways you can lend a helping hand:

  • Represent a country by coordinating a table at the event (we have 14 countries already!)
  • Performing a holiday dance or song representing your country
  • Helping to obtain or make raffle baskets and donations for the silent auction
  • Helping at the event like selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle
  • This year we are having a cookie swap booth so we are looking for bakers and people to help run that booth!
  • We need help setting up, during the event and cleaning up afterwards as well!
  • Bring your family & friends to start celebrating the Christmas Season in the most festive way!
